Emanuel ‘Manny’ Vasilescu, PE Manny founded Capricorn Engineering in 2012 when he decided to materialize his brainchild, that he held in reserve since young age, into an enterprise capable of helping any client looking for a solid engineering design through an 101 client-designer approach. Presently he brings 20+ years of practical experience in commercial/residential land development site plans, municipal public works and airport consulting services spanning two continents, Europe and North America. He has extensive experience in stormwater management, soils analysis, municipal public works and the NJDEP permitting process. He has been accepted as an expert and testified before Municipal Planning and Zoning Boards in the States of New Jersey and New York in support of his client’s projects. Before devoting himself entirely to Capricorn Engineering, Manny also acted as an Engineer Assistant to various Town officials within municipalities such as: Wayne, Garfield, Cresskill, Washington, Fairlawn, Demarest, Alpine, Hillside, Bloomingdale and Morristown in the State of New Jersey and Old Westbury Village in the State of New York. Manny holds a Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering from University of Agronomic Sciences, College of “Land Reclamation and Environmental Engineering” in the City of Bucharest, Romania, European Union. He is also a licensed Professional Engineer in New Jersey and New York. |

Robert F. Hogan, PLS Bob is an associate of Capricorn Engineering since the year 2016. His proficiency in working with robotic transits, various GPS equipment and AutoCAD Land Development software, contributed significantly to the business reputation. Presently he brings 35 years of relevant surveying and mapping expertise. Among the various responsibilities included in his portfolio, the research, evaluation and review of previous survey records constitute his preferred activity. He also performs detailed field surveys and oversees the activity of the field crews. Bob is a graduate of the Middlesex County Collage in New Brunswick, NJ and of the St. Bonaventure University in Saint Bonaventure, NY. |
